Hello! And welcome to Cossie Confidence with Sequins and Sand, the movement dedicated to helping women boost their confidence enough to put on a swimsuit and dive into their precious summers with family and friends. It really is the ticket to enjoying a hot Aussie summer and more importantly, making beautiful memories to last a lifetime.
What is #CossieConfidence?
#CossieConfidence is about helping women get over their fears and into their bathers so they can squeeze every last drop of fabulous from their precious summer holidays (and beyond). To not sit on the sidelines and watch the rest of the family have fun. But to get in that water with them and make amazing memories and ‘sparkle’ moments. To be in the photos, not taking them.

If you find yourself sitting under that tree, watching on as those you love have fun in the pool and on the beach, then welcome, you’ve come to the right place. We hope that by seeing other women taking the plunge, some with their own stories just like yours, that you might give it a go too. Life really is too short and happy memories, far too precious.
How you can help by sharing your story
Each of us has a story. A story about how we feel about our bodies, our bodies in a cossie.
You might not think it’s not anything to write home about, but for someone out there, it truly is.
And it can make a difference. Each of our Cossie Confidence Crew members have their stories. You can read about them here in The Crew section of this website.
These are everyday girls just like you, stepping up, stepping out to inspire others to do the same. They will make a difference. They already have. See how they have on our Instagram page. We will also post about them on the Sequins and Sand Facebook where the conversations flow. It’s just wonderful.
Your story matters. It will matter to someone. It will let them know that they are not alone and that making wonderful summer memories is possible once more.
